My story
I started making jewellery 8 years ago, I love the design process. Each piece of jewellery tells its own story.
I try and source the most unusual gemstones and components and recently I’ve started making my own whimsical charms out of precious metal clay.
My jewellery is not perfect jewellery, but it is free spirited, original jewellery that is full of character and is made using the best quality materials and stones

What Metals are Aisling Smith Jewellery Made from?
All Gold is Vermeil and Gold Filled. Vermeil is Sterling Silver Coated in a thick Coat of 24k Gold. Gold Filled is 14k gold heat and pressure bonded on Brass, Gold-filled items, even with daily wear, can last five to 30 years but will eventually wear through.
With my experience gold filled does not cause skin irritation to most people who suffer from skin sensitivity to cheaper base metals

Care instructions
Both sterling Silver and Gold items will tarnish over time. The extensive exposure to air, humidity, sweat, skin and hair products will hasten the oxidation process.
To keep your jewellery nice and shiny, we recommend cleaning silver jewellery with soapy water and soft brush and dry with a soft polishing cloth.
Keep jewellery in ziplock bag when not used.
Try to not wear your jewellery in the shower or pool as the chlorine will tarnish it.
Some of my silver charms are distressed silver, if these pick up extra tarnish they can be cleaned the same as sterling silver .
I cannot take reasonability for general wear and tear and jewellery .
What happens if my Jewellery Breaks?
If a piece needs fixing or in need of repair please email me at byaisling@gmail.com to assess the damage and to see if fixing is possible
Where is Aisling Smith Jewellery made?
All my jewellery is made in my studio in Dublin Ireland, I source components , findings and gemstones from Germany the UK and I make my own handmade charms. The jewellery is all made in Dublin Ireland with lots of love and care.
